The eSpring e3 Carbon Filter is easily installed and replaces the cartridge shipped with your original unit. The 3-layer carbon-block water filter effectively removes more than 170 potential impurities* but does not remove beneficial minerals, such as calcium, magnesium, and fluoride. Plus, the system alerts you when it’s time for the carbon-block filter to be replaced – about once a year, or every 5,000 L**.

The filter has 3 premium layers of water filtration:

Pre-filter: Traps larger particulate (sediment, scale precipitate, iron particles and dust)
Defence Guard: Improves water clarity and captures fine particles (micro-plastics, asbestos, silt and cysts )
Carbon Block: Effectively reduces pharmaceuticals, VOCs, pesticides, herbicides, PFOA and PFOS, and particulate down to 0.2 microns - 300-500x smaller than a human hair

It reduces 170+ contaminants including 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and cysts that may be present in drinking water*
