1.CHOOSING THE BOTANICAL
Nutrilite™ Double X™ contains 12 essential vitamins, 10 essential minerals and is packed with 22 botanicals and valuable phytonutrients that are not always easy to get with your everyday diet. Enjoy the phytopower from plants!
One key botanical is turmeric with its phytonutrient curcumin, which is known to help your body manage inflammatory responses.
2. SELECTING THE SEED
We use non-GMO seeds. The seeds and turmeric rhizomes we select for growing are all high in phytonutrients. Phytonutrients, also called secondary plant compounds, protect the plants and are thought to be beneficial for us.
3. CHOOSING THE FARM
Turmeric is sourced from carefully selected partner farm in India which follow sustainable farming practices and comply with our strict high-quality standards.
4. GROWING
Each ingredient has its own unique growing process. Turmeric rhizomes take hold during pre-monsoon rains.
5. HARVESTING
Harvesting is done when phytonutrient potency is at its peak. This means the turmeric rhizomes are cleaned, harvested and then air-dried, as part of the post-harvesting process. Research shows that this method yields the highest nutrients.
6. EXTRACTING
Nutrilite™ -approved facilities in each location extract the turmeric root to achieve the required potency. They are then dried, milled and shifted, and transformed into turmeric powder, all the while following our rigorous standards. The powder is sampled and quality tested before released for use.
7. MANUFACTURING
We ensure that Nutrilite™ Double X™ contains the right levels of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. Our product formula does not contain any artificial sweeteners, colours, flavours or preservatives.
We always put safety first. We test to ensure the presence of good things and absence of bad things. Our products are tested for contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, foreign material, irradiation, and microbes, amongst others.
8. PACKAGING
The product consists of three tablets, one each for vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. To preserve the nutrients, the tablets are sealed in a 31-day supply of vacuum and air-tight sachets.
For easy storage, the product comes with a robust, three-compartment plastic tray. The tray is re-usable; refill packaging without a tray is also available.
The packaging is designed to preserve the nutrients and to protect the tablets from damage during transport. Production and packaging details are linked to every Nutrilite™ Double X™ product shipped, allowing us to react quickly to customer inquiries.
